About Cat Servants
Cat Servants is a quality pet-sitting service dedicated exclusively to cat care and servicing the following areas in Manhattan: Midtown, Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Morningside Heights, Washington Heights and Inwood. If you are on the verge of travel and are genuinely concerned about finding a loving and trustworthy professional to care for your cat, you have come to the best possible place! Cat Servants is bonded and insured as well as proud members of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters.
Why You Should Choose Us
Pet-sitting has become a popular aspect of modern culture and quite a luxury with pet shops and individuals charging too much money for a brief 30-minute visit. However, Cat Servants doesn't believe that a quick visit fulfills proper cat care. We spend at least one hour or more with cats because we understand that cats may feel depressed when they are alone for too long. As loving cat owners ourselves, we also know it takes more than thirty-minutes to wash dishes, prepare meals with care, serve fresh water, maintain litter boxes and then spend quality time playing. Cat Servants' primary concern is the happiness and well-being of cats while their owners are away.
Why Our Prices Are So Good...
Many consumers believe that exorbitant prices ensure quality. However, higher prices in no way guarantee your cats will receive proper care. At Cat Servants we believe that luxury pet-sitting should be affordable to all homes because all pets deserve the very best!
We also take into consideration that affordable pet-sitting supports the encouragement of continued pet rescue and adoption. You see, there are many people that would love to adopt pets but do not because they worry their busy lifestyles would prevent them from spending adequate time with them. Cat Servants offers both solutions of being there as often as needed and at prices which make it affordable. “There are approximately 70 million pet dogs in the U.S. and 74.1 million pet cats" according to the U.S. Pet Ownership and Demographics Sourcebook (2012), but “despite the popularity of pets, every year millions of them wind up in public and private shelters. The vast majority are cats and dogs. They are either turned in by owners who no longer want them or are picked up as strays,” (K. M. Evans, 2008). Furthermore, according to the Humane Society of the United States, U.S. shelter and adoption estimates for 2012-13 determined that out of the 6 to 8 million number of cats and dogs which enter shelters each year, 2.7 million of these adoptable cats and dogs end up euthanized.
Cat Servants believes these figures are all the more urgency to save a life. All of our Cat Servants have donated money and time towards helping less fortunate cats by having worked with animal shelters, rescue organizations and having fostered kittens and cats. We are in this business because as cat lovers with experience, we are simply the best at what we do.
How We Work
Before you hire us, one of our loving cat professionals will come to your home and meet with you and your kitty. We will take note of your instructions regarding feeding, medications, favorite toys and activities, etc. While you are away, you will receive photos and/or videos from each visit showing your cats happy and playing. You will also be provided with the personal mobile number of the Cat Servant assigned to your home. Of course, when you return, your cat will tell you in his or her own way how well cared for and happy they've been while you've been away! Your satisfaction is important to us, therefore we offer a 100% refund guarantee if you believe your cat received any less than the royal treatment promised.
We look forward to hearing from you!
